What is Kinesiology?
Kinesiology is a system of natural health care that
combines manual muscle testing with the principles of Traditional Chinese
medicine and energy balancing.
It is based on the
principle that muscles are related to certain meridian energy lines that
run through the body - any blockages in the flow will cause health
problems.
It works on the whole body, balancing the emotional, nutritional
and structural elements of the body so that the body is in total harmony.
How many treatments do I
need?
Unfortunately I cannot tell you that. Everyone is very different. We
work on the principle of peeling off layers until we get to the root of
the problem (a bit like peeling layers off an onion and trying to get to
the centre). The root cause of your problem sometimes takes a while to get
to as it is deeply buried under other, more recent, events.
How much does it cost?
£35.00 per session. (A Reiki
treatment costs £25.00)
A charge will be made
for appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours notice
What do I have to do?
All you need to do, is to lie on the couch. I will test various
muscles and you have to resist a gentle pressure against those muscles.
The results of these muscle tests indicate to me where there is a problem
within your body.
Will it help my weight
problems?
Well I should be able to help with that, but it may take a little while depending
on what
is causing your problems.
For example:
(a)
It may be that you have a blood sugar imbalance, which could be corrected
and then you will lose the sugar craving.
(b)
It may be that you have Candida which gives you a sugar craving and that
can be corrected.
(c)
You may have a nutritional deficiency that is causing you to overeat and
we can deal with that.
(d)
You may have an emotional problem that needs dealing with.
(e)
or there may be other problems that have to be found and dealt with.
So
you see, it may take a while to get to the root cause of your weight
problem.

Do I have to get
undressed?
No, you remain fully clothed. I would just ask
you to remove your shoes and watch and any chunky jewellery.
How long does a session
last?
Approximately one hour.
Do I have to tell my
doctor that I am coming for treatment?
If you are currently having
treatment from your doctor, then you should check with him first.
Otherwise there is no need to inform him.
Will it interfere with
my medication?
The treatment itself should
have no effect on your medication. Occasionally, under very specific
circumstances, certain aspects of the treatment are best avoided,
but if your therapist knows your medical history and your
medication, she will avoid any part of the treatment that could
cause problems. If you need to take any nutritional
supplements that may interfere with your prescribed medication, then
you should check with your doctor first.
People
have been talking about distance healing. How does that work?
Reiki healing energy can be used anywhere in the
world. While it is better to have healing directly, if a
client cannot be present, then healing can be sent to them. To
do this, something having the client's energy is needed, like some
hair. This enables the Reiki energy to work with the client's energy
and the healing can be sent to them. This would need to be repeated
daily for a period of time.
This treatment
can also be used on animals, and I have achieved great success
recently with a cat.
Kinesiology
distance treatment involves using something with the client's
energy, like some hair, and placing it on another person's body.
They then become the surrogate for that treatment. Any problems
affecting the absent client will be reflected in the surrogate's
responses and appropriate treatment decided. I would then
write to the client and advise him of my findings and suggest a
appropriate course of treatment/nutrition for him.
